We are currently executing a Phase II contract with the Air Force in the field of Aeroelastic model manufacturing. In order to support our analyses, we are leveraging nonlinear structural analyses developed by academia with government super-computing platforms. In addition, we have polished our rapid prototyping capabilities to be of direct relevance to high fidelity analysis software and optimization. Ultimately, we are developing a process that will allow designers to perform rapid design changes and manufacture models on-demand.
We have recently applied CFD-based boom-focus prediction methodology for flight testing supersonic vehicles. Partners include VOLPE (DOT) and Lockheed Martin.
